Bike Man and Chain Man / used to ride around in our neighborhood / looking to fight crime and do good / you could tell them apart / because one rode a bike / and the other one carried a chain / only they could explain / they’d survey the scene / from a tree in the yard / and listen real hard for screams / it was the stuff of their dreams / when they heard that emergency call / they’d race to the ground / then run over and get on the bike / it was always too far to hike / soon they’d arrive / with a cry and a chain in the air / the fight was never fair / the bad guys would have to go back / and spend a little more time in jail / whenever Bike Man and Chain Man / were out patrolling / the dirty little streets / of Riverdale.
